Rick Stone is that very unique individual: a brilliant artist who is also an incredibly patient and inspiring teacher. I have met many people who fit in either category, but few great players can effectively explain their processes in a manner that is both effective and a great deal of fun. I feel very fortunate that I met Rick and was able to study with him some years ago. You really don't have to worry if you have a teacher like Rick. He will never lead you wrong! To this day, his lessons ring true and I continually refer back to them for instruction and inspiration.

I first took private lessons one summer many years ago then participated in his advanced Jazz Guitar class at Jazz mobile. What a walking encyclopedia of knowledge this great artist is.
